Tami Murray
Executive Producer

An experienced outdoor television Producer/Director/Editor, Tami Murray has spent the last 15 years developing outdoor programming for ESPN, espn2, TNN and OLN. Tami attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas and spent 8 years at a local Las Vegas television station. It wasn't until she began editing Fly Fishing the World for Barrett Productions that she realized what being in the outdoors was about. She spent 6 years contributing to the development of a variety of outdoor adventure shows, including Fly Fishing America, Photo Safari, Men's Journal and Fly Fishing the World.

In 1996 Tami teamed up with Larry Csonka to form Zonk! Productions. Together they co-produced a new series called North to Alaska. North to Alaska debuted on ESPN, airing for 3 years before moving to TNN and finally to the Outdoor Life Network. The series is in its 8th season and going strong. In addition to North to Alaska, Tami along with Zonk! Productions developed Csonka Outdoors, an outdoor adventure series also airing on TNN and OLN.

While still involved with North to Alaska Tami and partner Steve Fickes have formed a new production company based in Alaska. Mystery Creek Productions is currently working on a new series called the Unguided Sportsman, a show devoted to the do-it-yourself hunter/angler.

Tami is from southwestern Michigan but is currently living in Soldotna, Alaska. While producing North to Alaska, she fell in love with the state. Finding it difficult to leave when the shooting schedule was finished, she decided to make the move. Tami loves the outdoors, spends as much time as she can exploring the state, and always finds time to wet a line. She encourages everyone to find a way to visit Alaska; it truly is the Last Frontier.
